Hey everyone! I want to thank you for checking out the spoon making video!

Here is a photo shoot of 2 that are finished (The Cherry spoon was the star in the video….lol) using my smaller template.
All hand carved using traditional sloyd techniques.

Very well done and you’re right….the cherry one is the most beautiful of the two. Looking at the end of the handles, you are really getting good at the finer points of the detail work. Good job!

Got to watch that video! I’ve always wanted to make spoons out of exotic woods like Kingwood. Excellent work, incorporating the beautiful change that was in the wood.

Love the spoons. I am in a hotel, but I’m heading home tomorrow. I plan to start carving my first spoon this weekend. Just happens the wood I have is cherry. I’ll watch your video when I get home. Can’t watch it now because my internet connection is soooo slowwww.
