While I hate painting things this was something my wife needed for her class and wanted it school colors. But as she is the one that lets me have the money to get new tools and wood, I will just say “A happy wife is a happy life”. This was also a project I did not have any pre-made plans, I just winged it and made it the way she wanted. She was very happy with it. I did put wheels on it to make it easy for her to move around the room.

Canoe that is a great podium
I think you have made the wood stand out with the use of the paint
The storage under the lid is a great idea

Wise words in regards to your wife and a really nice build. She should get many years of service out of the podium…. nice job

Nice! The ones in our Sunday School room are way too small. Gives me an idea.

Greg, no wife is a high school teacher. But we live in LSU area and the school is the same colors & mascot as LSU.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
