I saw other LJ’s who had built this model and felt that I needed to see if I had the talent to do it too. Didn’t turn out too bad. The plans are very easy to follow and to scale, so making the parts was made easier. I certainly got to use all of my shop tools on this one! The woods used are birdseye maple, purpleheart, walnut, pine, mahogany.

Totally enjoyed the project! I’m thinking this will be a ‘keeper’...

WOW!! Great job on that truck, I have made some in the past, but not as nice as this one, A keeper indeed Where does one get plans for this model.

That is one great looking truck. I’ll have to add this to my to-do list. As Rockbuster said, “Where does one get plans for this model?”

EDIT
I found the plan in Meisel’s catalog for those of us that were wondering. I don’t know if I can post a direct link to it or not. Just search the Internet for Meisel and 1929 Ford Stake Bed Truck. You shouldn’t have too much difficulty finding the plans from there.

Yep, that’ definately a keeper. It’s on my to-do-list, which is way to long.
