These babies are 1 5/8” X 2 1/4” X 4 1/4”. The dark wood is walnut and the main wood is what I was told is English walnut. I put two coats of tongue oil so they won’t get chafed. They were put to bed tonight for Valentine’s Day for the women and grandchildren in my life. Can anyone verify if that is English walnut? I was given a piece 2” X 12” X 16” long end cut. I looked on Hobbithouse, but the many different pictures of just English walnut left me even more unsure than before. Peace

Those are really nice. They turned out great. Like your work/design on them.
As to the english walnut, I am in the dark.

Very nice design and work Jay. I like the rounded corners and all the other small details. Great gifts for the loved ones. They are sure to cherish them.
