Here is an initial draft of the TV cabinet I am constructing prior to final build out of black walnut, this cabinet will hold a small tv for the guest bedroom. The work is in progress and whats left to construct is the doors. I will post once i have arrived to final completion. This cabinet is made from tulip poplar and the entire assembly is morise and tenon with draw bore pegs (new method I am trying to master), frame and panels cut on the tablesaw, and beaded moulding. The doors will be frame and veneered panels.

This is looking pretty good so far. The raised panels give the piece a classic look.

Thanks for the post.

Are you saying this is just a practice build for the real thing? Wow! Can’t wait to see the walnut version.

That is really nice. I like the raised panels, they give it a rich look. I’m like the rest here, cant wait to see the finished product. I may have to try my hand at raised panels on my next project. Thanks for posting.

Billy, very nice craftmanship! You’ve done a great job on this one & I agree with others… Let’s see the finished ones…including the walnut one.
