I created this Boy Toy Box for my nieces young son , Lee, a avid deer hunter.
Construction Design is my own, Interior Size is 48”L x 24”W x 22” H.
Front panels have scrollsaw cutouts of, Deer scene & cross hairs on a buck (designs by Steve Good). Panels are Realtree Camo 1/2” OSB from Lowe’s with 1/4” birch laminated to reverse side for strenght and durability. All corners and panels trimmed out with Red Cedar, finished only with child safe finish of shellac.
I try to create a pieces that are virtually industructable and will “grow up” with kids,
Thus; the size for this box: in the future it can serve as a ammo/firearms box.
