These are some more bowls I have made.
The first one is Lignum Vitae. It is one of my favorites simply because of the grain pattern I found while turning.
The second one is a spalted maple. It was the last bowl I made before I got my chuck. It was uncomfortable to turn using the turners tape. I was worried it might come off the whole time.
The last bowl is a combined effort on mine and my dads part. He had been wanting to try to glue up a bowl blank and we thought for fun to try the checkerboard pattern. Many lessons learned on the glueup which will be useful in the future especially when I try a cutting board or two. As much as we thought all the parts were the same size, we still ended up not lining everything up. It is the biggest bowl I have turned so far. It is 8×8x4. I can not wait to turn larger bowls however that is about as big as I am comfortable with on my dads somewhat flimsy Delta lathe.
Again, thanks for looking.
