I ran across a “Pooping Reindeer” by Seamster at I thought it was really clever so I decided to enhance on his concept with my own “Pooping Puppy” I really wanted the tail to move up when the head was pushed down, so I sat down and came up with a significantly new design for the mechanism and made some plans, printed them out and made the following. I also included a very short video of it actually working.

It’s made out of Walnut and Maple with a little piece of Wenge for the nose and M&M’s

This is amazing! Who can’t look at this and not have a laugh. Do you have any plans to share? I’d love to see how this actually works.

Really cute, a little strange, but really cute

Hey Mike, I updated the video to show the mechanics. This is a prototype and I need to make a few tweaks, once I’m done with the tweaking and make a final puppy I will make plans available.

Nice job on the “inner-workings” i had a plastic pooper chicken one time but this is way cool – made out of wood!

Entirely appropriate that it looks like a Labrador Retriever ! They are all about eating (and pooping unfortunately !).
