Hi Everyone, this is a marker/crayon tool box I made for my daughter. It’s made from 1/2 poplar, the corners were joined with biscuits. This was the first oppurtunity I had to use my PC biscuit joiner, very pleased with the tool. The box is 10X6X6. The lid slides on dados and I put a small stop block underneath to keep the lid from coming completely off (to keep from getting lost). The bottom of the box is 1/2 poplar as well. The only metal that was used is the “Moon Stone” (knob) and screw. I finished the box with 3 coats of tung oil. The funny thing is, this project started out as a replacement box for her side-walk chalk, but it came out so nice I just couldn’t bear to see it outside in the weather. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Tony
