This was made for a baby nursery. The owners wanted a small side table to fit next to their nursery glider to hold bottles, moms coffee, etc. Found the base as an all white chalk-like plant stand/sculpture. The textiles in nursery are all green with a small hint of yellow. Therefore, I painted the base yellow and splattered with matching green. Attached top with walnut dowel and epoxy. Slab was small portion of log I milled off a local tobacco farm. I like the symbolism of the momma baboon cradling her baby considering the purpose of the table. Monkey business.

Just beautiful, like the color combination, amazing design and the gorgeous piece of slab.
