Big ol' Desk

After many years dragging my feet, I finally bit the bullet and started the path to an MBA…fun! I figured if I’m heading back to school then I need a new desk and why buy when you can build. It became my project during the holidays. I pretty much used up everything I had on my racks and this is what I came up with. Cabinet holds all the computer stuff and I hid the printer in the bottom drawer, as shown in the picture. I bought myself a bigger monitor, Christmas present to myself, that sits between the speakers but it was an afterthought so not in the picture. It’s 6’ wide and 2’ deep and a definite improvement on what I had before. Cherry and walnut, a great combo, and finished with tung oil. All in all it came out alright.

Excellent Joice going back to school. Beautiful desk.

Very nice desk and it will serve you well in school. Best of luck on your going back to school. I hope it goes well for you.

Wonderful big desk! Like the design and wood especially the big drawers which stored the stuff and made everything neat and tidy.
