I used a pressure treated stain. I can not recall the brand name. I have used it before on my personal outdoor furniture and have have good luck with it so far.

Fantastic job on those sturdy and comfy chairs and love seat. Has a great build and rustic charm to them.

Thank you guys for looking! I started out using plans from the internet, but I was not happy with them and they would not sell. I stayed up late one night scratching my head and came up with this design. They only thing I still use from the plans I started with are the saws, yep still the same ole saws! Lol.

Hey Todd,
Really like these. I've been wanting to build an Adirondack but haven't seen one that really "grabbed" me, until now. Great job and I love the way they're finished. Look almost like pallets. You said you used a pressure treated stain so I'm guessing you used pressure treated lumber?

No sir, the wood was not pressure treated. They look like pallets because they really were before I started. They were not your typical 4×3 standard size. These pallets were made from 1 X 6 untreated decking. The stain I used came from the local lumber yard that was recommended by a contractor. It was a pressure treated stain. I can not recall the name of it, but it protected against insects, moisture, and the sun.

Pallet wood is my favorite. Cheap and pretty. Beware its addictive.
