Bradford Pear 8" Bowl

Turned from wet stock and dried in microwave.

Thought I set the microwave on 3:00 but turned out to be 30:00 and warped this bowl. Salvageable though.

Nice looking bowl.

I have used the microwave on small bowls but nothing real green.

“turned” out great. I am LOL at the time set mishap! Classic! At least it worked out in the end. Good job.

Great Job!!
I have a piece of Pear wood that I hope I can turn into a Ring!!
It was going in the fire so I grabbed it!

Thanks Robert, this one warped pretty badly in the microwave while I was drying it out. I left the tenon on to see if it would help pull the bowl back to round and it seems to be getting slightly better now.

I have a couple more Bradford pear blanks on the way. The lighter bowls seem to be more popular this year.
