In preparation for our “economic stimulus” 50 inch plasma TV, I built this entertainment console out of walnut. Mama’s very happy which means everyone’s happy.

Absolutely beautiful! Got any work-in-progress pics? I’d Like to see how you did the adjustable shelves. I would like that look on a pantry cabinet I will build this fall.

that is a nice looking entertainment center.
Walnut always looks nice.
I like the short stature of the unit, I’m not abig fan of the type that go floor to ceiling.
it’ll look great with the plasma sitting on top!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Walnut is such a warm wood and it is fairly easy to work with.

Your selection of Walnut really makes it a striking piece. I’m not sure what would make me happier the 50” HD TV or the walnut entertainment center. Lucky you, you have both.
