This was my first electric project. It’s a maple top, ebony fingerboard, Sperzel tuners, Bartollini pickups and though it looks fretted, it’s not. They are marker lines (I basically fretted the instrument then ground the frets down the their tang. It turned out very nicely.

The bass sounded great and I have since wished I had not sold it on ebay. Oh the things we do when we are young.

I should make another bass. I mean why not?

That’s just sexy. Don’t care if that sounds weird to non-bass players.

Very nice. Again, wish I could try it.

Nice. I don’t think I’ve got the chops to play a fretless, but nice looking instrument!

Chris, have you tried a fretless? They are not hard to play imo. And Brian, bass is the sexiest instrument, and pretty girls playing bass is hard to beat. (I just so happens that my wife plays bass, so I know first hand). ;)

Cheers,
Seth
