Yup I Googled Sdaka and all that came up was multiple links and pics to Niel Sedaka lol
Soooo … still don’t know what it is. unless you’ve got Niel Sedaka stuffed in there.

Until Denis will explain, Ill try to explain what I understand: Sdaka in Hebrew is charity. It is common in Israel to put in the synagogue or other places where you pay for something and get the change, to put a small box with a slot on the top. People put the change or small money and it is going for people who needs help. in most of the cases it is written on the box for what kind of needs the money is going. Big boxes are for collecting clothes, but this size is too big for money and too small for clothes, so I assume I gave an half explanation. waiting for Denis to complete.
