Changing Table for new Grandson….on the way! My first at making something from a drawing. I added 10” to the length of a chest from Woodsmith Magazine. I learned a lot from this. I recommend it for newbes like myself. Try to follow the plan and construction as close as possible.
I learned that plywood is not flat. I also learned that plywood is not necessarly 3/4”. It really messes up your construction if you have close tolerences. I made drawers with dovetails as called for. I found out that making flush mount faces is a real challange. I found out that your daughter can pick a color from a color chart, and you can have it converted to an enamel paint at the Big Box. It really works well wiith the small foam rollers. I also noticed she did not close top drawer for pic :)

Just purchased one for great grandaughter…like yours MUCH better and needless to say drawers will never last as long as yours. Great job. Keep up the learning curve….it never stops!

Turned out really great. Like the build and the color, matches any room.
