You Want A What?

The other night my wife and I were watching a half hour sitcom called The Big Bang Theory. On the kitchen counter in one of the shots was a thing holding a bunch of bananas. My wife says, see that thing holding up the bananas on the counter, I want one of those. I said what is it? She said, I don’t know what they call it, I just want you to make me one. So not knowing the proper name for it, I Googled Banana Rack and behold it gave me several pictures of a Banana Stand.

I made this out of some birch my neighbor gave me. I haven’t had much experience working with birch but I like it. I finished it with three coats of high gloss poly.

We are up town now!!

Thanks for looking.

Woo-hoo! We’re getting fancy now!

Soon you’ll poke out your little pinky while sucking down your Schlitz 40 oz.!

It looks cool and I would make one but there’s no room on the counter now!

If anyone would know the proper way to display a banana, it would be Sheldon Cooper. I think the roommate agreement is very detailed on the subject.

LOL! But I know you would do it if she asked! You are that kind of guy! You have a really bad habit of wanting to try your hand at everything! I’m in that same boat myself. Not a bad habit but it does require a lot of time that’s for sure!
Keep up the good work Lee! You’re a very interesting buddy! :)

Your wife wants a Banana Rack, my wife wants a new House. Some guys have all the luck.
Well done.

Hey, ohwoodeye, I already did the new house thing :).

Vrtigo1, joinin10asee said it was a good thing I didn’t Google banana hammock. After seeing the results of those search words I’m glad I searched for banana stand.
