Inspired by The Duck and the Whale Bandsaw boxes. I asked where the plan came, I searched the internet and search other forums. No luck finding it.

Then I looked in the bookcase 24” from my chair and there is the book by Tom Crabb that I bought at a thrift store several months ago, and featured on the cover is this box.

My first attempt is Cedar as I wanted it to be easy to shape. It has one application of Antique oil.

Very nice.
I have always wanted to make one of these and now I will.
Thanks for getting me inspired again.

On top of your excellent work, it can serve as a secret compartment.

Nice! I love the grain direction. That’s what makes LJ’s so cool, I have been inspired by countless folks here so I am happy so see something I did inspire another :)
