hi 5 little bowls i turned out of hard wood and sap wood i got the wood on sale .there was no sicker on it so do not know what kind the wood is and the sale lady had no idea so i got it for 10 euro it was 33 inches long by 6 inches wade by 3 deep it was cheep but i would not work with it every again it give me a terrible rash the itch was driving me mad for 3 days had to go to they doctor he give me a injection and some cream i payed the dock 60 euro so it worked out a very excessive piece of timber lesson learned …..

the 5 3/4 by 3 inches
finished with 5 coats of tung owl

Nice bowls like the heart wood sap wood effect to bad you got the itch from them…my guess is Cocobolo wood I have read of people have reactions to it…hope you feel better soon

Great looking bowl Branch, well turned and lovely finish. Sorry to hear about the rash and hope the cure works for you, has made them expensive bowls.

Nice grain diff on these bowls. Makes an interesting turn. Your next project should be a back scratcher. Haaa Haaa

Sorry to read about your bad experence with that Timber Branch, there is some nasty varieties out there.

hi thanks for all your concerns and comments it was a week ago that i had the rash it s all cleared up now as good a new i am back in the shop making a few back scrapers taking ldl advice never know when one might need one haaaaa haaaaaa
