Hey guys. I’ve been checking y’all out for a few months. Great stuff! I’ve been wood working for quite a few years. Mostly self taught. Last class I took was in 1973 in junior high. Got a lathe for Christmas and these are the first pens that I turned. I’ll post some of my older endeavors as soon as I can find more pics. Thanks for allowing me to be part of such a great bunch!

Very nice indeed! I took a long time as well before trying a lathe, but now that I have…. I’m hooked! Keep up the great work. :)

Welcome and nice job. Be advised, pen turning is super addictive. I am on lockdown currently from buying any more until I finish all the kits I have to finish. Keep the projects coming.

Thanks for the great welcome! You ain’t kiddin about the addiction. If it wasn’t so cold in my garage right now I would have turned enough wood to recreate the parthenon.

Nice, I have made several of these Bullet pens and cannot keep one in the display box. The more creative I get with mixing wood and corian the faster they get gone. Welcome to LJ, nice work.

CJ welcome to Lumberjocks glad to see your first posting. Really nice looking pens, looks like you have already been warned about the addiction so just go with it, its easier. Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for posting. I am fairly new to posting here too. The constructive positive criticisms are helpful and the compliments are affirming. Keep up the good work.
