This is an update on my previous posting Cherry Pastel Box.
I have since made some more and have posted them to my etsy page at
http://www.etsy.com/shop/IVAMIR
These are made with my CNC machine.
The first is Elm, Second is reclaimed Barn Board, third is Walnut and fourth is the original Cherry. Then the detail shots of the barn board. I managed to keep a sort of live edge on the board board which worked out nice.
The finish is mineral oil and Claphams beeswax furniture polish.
The hardware is soss 10mm brass barrel hinges and lee valley rare earth magnets.
For you CNC people out there: The tooling necessary is 1/2 inch Ballnose, 1/8 Ballnose, 10mm drill (For hinges) and 3/8 Drill.
Check out the etsy page for more photos if you are interested.

Wish I used pastels. Seems like an amazing deal for the price you’re asking.

Great set of boxes esp. the live edged one. Great way to take care of the pastels and nice gift to budding artists.
