Suiseki or Japanese Viewing stones are displayed on daiza…or so I am learning. This is closely related to the Bonsai world. Not as easy to make as they look!

easy to make or not, I like how simple it looks. and yet at the same time it looks quite high-class and elegant. I also like the other ones you have in your gallery. cool cool cool

Nice job. I’ve tried embedding stones into wood before but it never turned out as nicely as this. It’s so difficult to cut the wood to match the irregular contours on the stone.
