This is my first foray into making finger joints on my router. I didn’t have good results using the table saw, so I decided to try a different approach. This was also my first project with barrel hinges. I think I practiced on 6 or 8 scraps of wood until I felt brave enough to drill on the actual boxes.

The woods used are curly maple, bird’s eye maple, walnut, sycamore, and purpleheart. They are sanded to 320 grit, sealed with Watco natural, and waxed.
