In an attempt to de-clutter my desk area I built this cork-board to hang important stuff like pre-school art projects and perhaps some bills too. It has been a long time since posting and I have not had much time in the shop. It felt great to get another project finished and I am looking forward to the next big idea. Made of walnut with mitered corners and a top shelf for nick-nacks. I made a simple miter sled to make the corners. If you don’t have one I highly recommend one. The finish is the old BLO and paste wax. I hope you all enjoy.

A special thank you to Steve Ramsey’s woodworking for mere mortals website January Junk month for some inspiration to get organized.

A great looking project for reminders and to organize stuff. Very useful and functional.
