A quick little project made on the CNC machine. These will be painted and decorated then hung on a wall in a little girl’s room

-- The CNC machine can either produce the work of art you imagined, or very decorative firewood.

Man, I wish I had a CNC machine. My wife wants me to do something similar to this. It will be made, however, on my jig saw machine.

I still love my scroll saw, I use it all the time. But if I am going to make a bunch of something or something that needs precise dimentions, I will spend the time programming the right combinations of router passes. There is a guy in Michigan that makes Romaxx like the one I use and I am incredibly happy with it. The machines costs 2 – 5 thousand for a table top like I have, but then you need software to read the G code and feed it to the CNC machine ( I use Mach 2, about 175 dollars) and you need software to do the designing and turn pictures, and designs into edited vectors that can be turned into Gcode. I use Vector Vcarve Pro and that cost about 900 dollars). It wasn’t cheap, but for someone whose creative skills surpassed his machine skills, I thought it would let me do things beyond my skillset.
