My daughter designed the wavy shape of this bandsaw box for her teacher. She also helped with gluing, sanding and finishing. It’s made from western red cedar and pine.

Beautiful.

Did your daughter help build it?

Thanks! Yes, she drew the wavy shape on her whiteboard, then she helped with gluing the parts together, sanding, and adding the felt drawer lining. She took it to her teacher this morning so I’m looking forward to hearing about it later.

Good work Steve. It’s always great to get the kids in the shop.

That’s easily the nicest bandsaw box I’ve seen in a while.

Very pretty design. Nice to hear more young people interested in woodworking. Great to work with the kids, teaching them. Our 14 yr old granddaughter is quite interested in it. She has been over to make a few items already. She enjoys the serenity and the smell of cut wood. I think that may be the test for the true woodworker!

One of the finest band saw I’ve ever seen! Nice idea on the wavy shape. Cool!

Wonderful box! And a great team work for Dad and daughter. Like the wavy design and the wood combo.
