Thought I would try my hand at making a rough scale toy from drawings of train cars, this is a rough looking “Fancy Dinning Car” circa 1928 from drawings of a GWR car. Body is made of Cherry and roof and base made of Alder, benches and tables inside are made from scraps of Oak, Walnut, Maple. Is not made to scale, but most design is at about 1” equals about 2 1/2’, lots of fun.

That is truly amazing work. Gunna have to send the link to this one to my father, he is, and always has been, obsessed with trains.

Cool dinning train, like the design and every detail is well made. Great use of scraps.
