My dad asked me if I had any cribbage boards to donate to a silent auction at his workplace. I said sure, and gave him two boards, one of which is the bottom board in the first picture. The auction went through and my dad told me one of his coworkers liked the design and asked if I would make her four boards for Christmas presents! I of course said sure and make four boards of whatever design I came up with from the wood types she chose. Of course in my excitement I did not photograph any of those boards! So here are some other boards I’ve made recently. The last picture is my second commision, made for one of my coworkers who liked the retirement gifts I made earlier. My master plan is to make up a bunch and do a craft fair.

They’re all very nice looking boards : )
Where did you get the hole pattern from ?

Great looking boards…!! I’ve made a few myself but I like your design for the holes…nice and simple. If you don’t mind, i’ll borrow your idea and make a few more myself…Our legion often have cribbage tournaments and they would be great as fund raisers.

Go for it prez.
Dusty56, I currently use the “track” template from Rockler.com and move it a few times during drilling to get the straight hole pattern you see. I have plans to use the plastic template to make a more sturdy metal one with the layout I want in the future. I’m just looking around for the right piece of metal.
