Scrollwork of Married Couple

A co-worker of mine hired me to create a scrollwork taken from one of their wedding photos.

This would have been a tad easier if it weren’t for the bride’s veil and headpiece – getting a pattern drawn out for those took forever!

Overall dimensions of the piece were roughly 12×14 inches.

Material used is 1/8” Baltic Birch plywood.

Finish, as usual, is a soak in lemon oil followed by a backing of thick felt.

While this was intended to be a Valentine’s gift for his wife, I don’t think he’s going to wait that long to give this to her. :-)

Enjoy and Cheers!

Nice scrolling, I bet that was difficult on the viel, but you pulled it off beautifully. I’m sure he was very excited to give it to her.
