My first real piece. I bought the Mango slab at an auction and finished it. The legs are Ohia salvaged from down the street. I milled the Ohia with Alaskan mill.

Beautiful and sturdy table, like the beautiful wood especially the three legs, great salvage of the wood.

Dwight I got it from an auction so I have no idea where it came from before that.

Any details on what kind of finish you used on it ? I am working on a similar mango slab and need some details on the finish products I should use.

khetani- I used minwax fruit wood stain and oil based poly for the finish. I used the stain to darken it up a little but if the slab has nice figure and color you can skip that. 4 years later and finish has held up pretty well.
