Although I am not much of a wood turner I really admire the beauty of some of the objects I see on LJ and your vase is no exception. It is really a beautiful piece. Luv the shape and wood choice…Great work!

Thanks for all of the comments. The vase is from rosewood log. turned endgrain. it is hollowed out to within a 1/2 inch of the bottom, sides are 1/4 inch thick. The lazer hollowing tool sure is helpful.
