so i made this one afternoon while bored at home. There was Mothers day coming up and rather than buy my mom something which i always do, an impersonal object, i figured i would do something she would appreciate.
not the mention the lack of funds i’m suffering from at the moment
I found some scrap walnut in the shop at the bottom of the scrap barrel. It certainly served a purpose, since she loved it and now all the members of my family have ornaments with our names on them (though the rest aren’t nice walnut—ARGH! maybe i’ll have to do something about that)

This is a wonderful gift with which I am sure your mother was absolutely thrilled. Getting a handmade gift is far more pleasurable when compared with something off the shelf.
