I took our company to the Lake Home & Cabin Show in Madison. We made these two tables to display at the show!
The first, the Water Table, was inspired by our Wisconsin lakes. I took a hollow log and sealed the bottom, filled it with sand, lake bed artifacts and layer upon layer of 2-part epoxy. It came out looking really sharp and we ended up selling it at the show.
The second table is a natural edged beauty made with Walnut sandwiched between two slabs of Butternut. The panel legs are made with Northern Catalpa and I added a Hard Maple skirt as an additional accent. We used 5-6 hand applied coats of Cabot clear gloss poly on the top to give it a nice reflective finish.

Very nice! They both look great! The one with epoxy is cool, love those legs!

Gorgeous tables! Like the design and the shiny finish esp. the round one with added touches of sand and pebbles.
