A friend of my wife’s is a Physical Therapist who has a 6 year old client with some form of serious muscular disorder that causes muscle spasms. The Therapist has an antique red child’s chair that this little girl loves but can’t use without being tied in to prevent her from falling sideways off of the chair.

The Therapist originally asked me if I could add arms to her antique chair but I felt that a new chair was in order instead of damaging the antique..

Poplar wood and pocket hole screws made it an easy build.. Exterior latex paint should make it durable..

Beautiful chair, like the color and the design. It is stout and looks very sturdy suited for kids. Great work!
