This weekend I finished this set for my desk at work. It is made from Jatoba with 1 7/8” inserts. The first one I tried making I was drilling the hole from the back will a twist drill bit and it blew the side out. I tried again using fostner bits and it work much better.

I like it. I’ve been wanting to make something like this for my boss and sister in law. Your project might get me motivated! Did you get the hardware at Rockler?

Randy, Yes the hardware did come from Rockler. On hindsite I would have order the pen funnel and clock inserts from KLOCKIT because you can order the pen with it, rockler only carries the pen funnel.
