The chest sides are made from a single Quilt Hard Maple board that has been re saw, and re-joined in assembly to create a beautiful grain-wrap pattern at the corners. The top is solid American Black Walnut, book-matched with Bloodwood boarder. The corners of the jewelry boxes are mitered and accented with 4 pairs of splines, made from a contrasting wood. The two drawers are made from American Black Walnut. This is a 2-Drawer Walnut/Maple 12” x 9” x5 3/4” Jewelry chest. Finished with two coats of M. L. Campbell Satin Krystal which is post-catalyzed conversion varnish finishing system which is Water white and non-yellowing.

That is a great design and your craftsmanship and wood combo made it extra nice. I especially like the mitered ends on the drawer fronts. Gives the whole project a finished/classy look.

Beautiful design and execution! And gorgeous wood.
