I had originally posted this LOVE YOU valentine item made from a 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 by 4 inch block of pine taken from Steve Good’s pattern page. When I took it to the craft store, where I sell my items, it sold the minute I took it out of my box. However I knew that I wanted to do something different. How about making it out of a 1 inch by 1 inch by 2 5/8 inch block of wood and put a heart shape in each end. Now I think I am getting there – I HOPE.

That’s interesting. How did you do that. Did you cut the sides separately and glue them together or do you have another technique?
