Whet Stone Box

This is one of my class projects, the box was made from rough stock poplar,it was edged,planed and glue laminated. the recess for the stone was made with a plunge router, all the edges were eased with a round over bit and then sanded with 150- 220 Grit sandpaper, believe it or not but this box was made from a single board.
