My wife and I received a 3 piece panoramic picture for Christmas. They looked awfully plain just sitting there. With the image being a wonderful outdoor scene I thought it would be neat if I were in a location where I could have that view from out of a window. So, I decided to make a window to look out of :)

Great job! I always wanted to create a false window with a mirror behind it. It looks really good with outdoor scenery instead.

That looks a LOT better with the window frame!

Although it’s the pictures that actually convey the illusion, it takes the frame to pull it off perfectly.

Well done!

Good idea and a good use of scrap material.

I like the after picture a lot better than the before. Great idea and build!
