That is an awesome sign. Are the letters individually cut or are they cut at an angle to just make them pop up?

Either way, it looks great~

Is all one piece. I mean, I glue like 7 4×4 and sanding to looks like one piece and then I use the router for the big cuts and the power carving machine for the small cuts. With many, many rotary tools.

Very nice! Muy bueno! Am I correct that this is an Italian restaurant (pizza) but the sign is in Spanish?

Well, yes is a Italian food in México that`s why the words are in spanish. But don´t be surprised. All the restaurants of the world have mexicans cooks jajajajajaja we are everywhere. Sorry for that but we are to many here and our president is the most stupid and corrupt person of the world!!!!

Forget the presidents, this is Lumberjocks!!! jejejee
I don´t know if I can teach about carving because in my personal opinion am just a amateur guy. But in my personal opinion (again) carving is like riding bycicle… you have to try to learn. If you practice you gona discover your own techniques.
I apologize for my bad english.
Peace!!!!!
Saludos!!!
