I made this cabinet for our dining room to store recipe books and linens. It’s made from cherry and walnut and has adjustable shelves. Some of the panels are book matched and some are slip matched.
I used shellac as a sealer followed by two coats of BLO and 3 coats of poly (thinned).

Great cabinet. I love the cherry and walnut combination. Gives a very warm look.
Did you resaw the wood for the panels?

Yeah, the panels are 5/16” which I resawed from 4/4.
This happens to be the project for which I built my thickness sander.
