This is a walnut hollow form me and Jock Steve A did two weeks ago.

About 9” tall, 6” wide. Used a EZ-Wood Tool deep hollow tool supplied by Craig Jakson at EZ Wood. The tool works great and made the end grain hollowing very easy.

The actual project is nicer than the photos.

Has about 15 coats of spray lacquer so far.

The beer is there to give perspective on vase height and….. for later today to give me better perspective on life! :-).

Nice!
I’ve used some of the Easy Wood Tools and really like them, too!

I seem to remember hollowing most of it with a hook and the Ellsworth style cutter? I remember putting the EWT thing on the bench and covering it in shaving because it vibrated too much? I need to make a really big boring bar for a project i have in my head… wanna go to the scrapyard with me?

That’s a good looking beer, Bob!

The vase isn’t bad either.
