This is another cut off I almost threw away. It was cut off the end of a cedar branch I was cutting a blank for turning and I had set it aside to throw away. Since I have started looking for scrap to turn I put it on the lathe and turned this cup. I used a Forstner bit to bore out the inside because of the section that was missing. I though the gaps made an interesting pattern.
Made of cedar and finished with Capt Eddie’s OB Shine Juice.

Thanks for the comments
I tell you wood is getting harder and harder to get in my trash can lately. Just about the only way is in the shavings bag.
