So, similar to the mudroom built-in, when we designed our addition a few years ago, I had specifically added several cubbies into the design for built-ins. This is the second of three – a cherry cabinet and bookcase. Make of solid and ply cherry, pre-finished maple ply for the lower cabinet and wenge accents. Was a little challenging to get the top trim piece to fit as the ceiling there is sloped and out of square (left-to-right). Its not quite as red as the pictures make it out to me (not a professional photographer by any means!) and I would expect the contrast between the panels and the frames to lessen as the cherry solids darken with time.
