This was a another Christmas present requested by my mother-in-law. The antique that you see on the right-hand side of picture two & four we found an antique store three years ago. My mother-in-law expressed a great deal of interest in taking it for herself. So after three years of procrastination by myself, I decided to make her one for Christmas this year. The rock-n H brand you see at the bottom of the grain scoop, was her father’s ranch brand. They handed it down to me two years ago when he passed, which is the brand I based my business off of. So with every project I make I brand it, and this had special meaning for her project. I think the results were very close, even down to the curved handle and crude nail hole.
