While in the USA I made two pieces for my sister. This is to be an entry seat next to front door for putting your shoes on and taking them off again.
It is made from solid oak and required very simple joinery, because I only had a week to make it. So ten mortice and tenons later and we have a bench seat.
BTW the good looking model in the first photois my mum.
