I wanted someplace to keep the drills handy, yet put away. It’s just a box screwed to the wall with individual saddles for each cordless tool, and a triangle with a hole in it for the heat gun and corded drill. I ended up putting a 3.6v cordless drill in there also – funny how tools multiply by themselves. ;) The saddles are removable, so I could make a bigger box eventually. I used a saddle for the cordless drills so they will stay in there with or without the battery. I intended to have a cleat across the wall to hang such storage devices, but with the unused space there, I just screwed it the wall with drywall screw anchors.
Above that I have a charging station hooked to an outdoor light sensing timer. It only comes on after I have left the shop, or turn it on manually. That way the chargers come on only when I’m using the shop from day to day.
