Latest project in expanding my woodworking experience – both grinders have ceramic mechanisms – center stripe is maple for the salt grinder and black walnut for the pepper grinder with opposite wood for contrast – outer layer is koa from here in Hawaii – they stand just over 12 inches high – my bride likes them so I guess they turned out okay!

Those are beautiful pieces. I like the way you reversed the woods to differentiate between the salt and pepper shakers.

beautiful job on these….I knew right away which was Salt and Pepper before reading your description….great mix of woods
