Salt & Pepper Grinders

Project by Jim posted 547 days ago 255 views 1 time favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Latest project in expanding my woodworking experience – both grinders have ceramic mechanisms – center stripe is maple for the salt grinder and black walnut for the pepper grinder with opposite wood for contrast – outer layer is koa from here in Hawaii – they stand just over 12 inches high – my bride likes them so I guess they turned out okay!

Jim,

Those are beautiful pieces. I like the way you reversed the woods to differentiate between the salt and pepper shakers.

Nice job .

You’ve done a great job here too. I really like both, but especially the pepper.
