Latest project in expanding my woodworking experience – both grinders have ceramic mechanisms – center stripe is maple for the salt grinder and black walnut for the pepper grinder with opposite wood for contrast – outer layer is koa from here in Hawaii – they stand just over 12 inches high – my bride likes them so I guess they turned out okay!

Those are beautiful pieces. I like the way you reversed the woods to differentiate between the salt and pepper shakers.
