You fellow old hippies out there know this one…........
I was dabbling in Purpleheart wood over the holidays and decided to make my wife a frame. She is a bit of a color purple fanatic. I ran across this web site while looking for Christmas ideas. This vendor has a tremendous selection of unique signs she makes and a reasonable cost of 18 bucks. You can pick the color and sign you want and she will make it and send it quickly. With over 3700 sales she must be popular.
My first go at splines made of oak. Frame finished with spray Shellac…..................

That’s a beautiful frame Mike, very nice proportions and tight miters.
...yes I remember that tune, being a child of the 50’s and 60’s. ...and just by coincidence I was born January 13th, 1949, which makes me 64, just 10 days ago.
